Are you a parent navigating the complexity of Indian education, dicy over the crucial decision of choosing the right educational board for your child's academic journey?
This choice holds immense significance, as it plays a pivotal role in shaping a student's educational experience and prospects.
Two of the most prominent educational boards in the country, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) and the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) stand out for their distinctive features, teaching methodologies, and assessment patterns.

Difference between CBSE and ICSE
The primary difference between CBSE and ICSE lies in their curricula. CBSE prioritizes science and mathematics, While ICSE equally emphasizes languages, arts, and sciences. ICSE offers a more comprehensive syllabus, while CBSE is designed to prepare students specifically for exams such as JEE and NEET.
Here are a few more significant differences between the ICSE and CBSE Boards:
Curriculum and Syllabus:
CBSE: The CBSE curriculum is known for its structured approach, focusing on building a robust understanding of core subjects while providing elective choices in higher classes. The syllabus is carefully designed to ensure alignment with various national and state-level entrance examinations, easing the transition for students pursuing higher education or competitive exams.
ICSE: On the other hand, the ICSE curriculum is renowned for its comprehensive nature, encompassing a diverse range of subjects to offer a holistic educational experience. The board emphasizes the development of analytical and critical thinking skills through an in-depth study of subjects, emphasizing conceptual clarity and application-oriented learning.
Examination Pattern:
CBSE: The CBSE examination pattern adopts a more practical approach, incorporating application-based questions and practical assessments to gauge students’ understanding. The All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE) for Class 10 and the All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 12 are the hallmark examinations conducted by the board.
ICSE: In contrast, ICSE examinations are renowned for their rigorous evaluation process, balancing theoretical and practical assessments. The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) for Class 10 and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) for Class 12 form the cornerstone of the board’s assessment system.
Emphasis on Language:
CBSE: While CBSE places significant importance on the English language, it also offers a diverse array of options for second and third-language selections, catering to linguistic diversity and regional preferences.
ICSE: ICSE holds a distinguished emphasis on the English language and literature, striving to cultivate strong language skills and literary appreciation among students, fostering a deep understanding of the language's nuances and literature’s richness.
Grading System:
CBSE: The CBSE board employs the Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) system for assessment, providing a comprehensive evaluation of a student’s performance across subjects, laying importance on continual improvement and overall growth.
ICSE: In contrast, ICSE follows a percentage-based evaluation system, allowing a clear understanding of the student’s performance in each subject, and providing a granular understanding of strengths and areas needing improvement.
Recognition and Affiliation:
CBSE: Widely recognized and preferred for national-level competitive examinations and entrance tests, CBSE boasts affiliations with a multitude of schools across India and abroad, offering a diverse and inclusive educational network.
ICSE: ICSE commands a strong international presence, recognized by numerous universities worldwide, making it an appealing choice for students aspiring for global educational opportunities, showcasing the board's emphasis on a comprehensive and challenging academic curriculum.
Understanding the nuances of each board is vital for parents and students to make an informed decision aligning with their educational goals.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE)
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is a national-level board of education in India, catering to both public and private schools while being under the administration of the Union Government of India. CBSE is widely reputed for its comprehensive and structured curriculum, with a significant focus on building a strong foundation in core subjects such as Mathematics, Science, Social Science, and Languages. Additionally, the board is responsible for conducting competitive entrance exams such as JEE (Main), NEET, and CTET.

The assessment pattern encompasses both formative and summative assessments, incorporating a continuous evaluation system that fosters holistic development. Furthermore, the provision of study materials, sample papers, and online resources bolsters students’ academic pursuits.
Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE)

Renowned for its rigorous and comprehensive curriculum, ICSE encompasses a wide breadth of subjects, with a notable emphasis on English language and literature, Mathematics, Sciences, and Social Studies.
ICSE’s core philosophy revolves around in-depth understanding, critical thinking, and honing analytical skills. The board’s vision aims to provide a balanced education, incorporating a strong foundation in both academics and extracurricular activities. Are CBSE Schools Right for Your Child? Here’s How to Decide
Tumblr media
Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you'll make as a parent. With a multitude of educational boards to choose from, each offering its own set of advantages, it can be challenging to determine which one is the best fit for your child’s needs. Among the options, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) stands out as one of the most popular choices in India. But is a CBSE school the right choice for your child? Here’s a guide to help you decide.
CBSE Schools in Coimbatore
1. Understanding the CBSE Curriculum
The CBSE curriculum is designed to provide students with a broad and balanced education, with a strong focus on science, mathematics, and technology. It is structured to foster analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of core subjects. If your child has a strong inclination towards these areas or you envision a future in fields like engineering, medicine, or IT, the CBSE curriculum could be an excellent fit.
2. Global Recognition and Flexibility
One of the key advantages of the CBSE board is its wide recognition, not only in India but also internationally. CBSE is affiliated with numerous schools across the globe, which means that if you ever need to relocate, your child can transition to another CBSE school with minimal disruption. Additionally, the CBSE board offers flexibility in subject choices, especially in higher grades, allowing students to tailor their education to their interests and career goals.

3. Focus on Competitive Exams
For students aiming to pursue higher education in prestigious Indian institutions, CBSE is a favorable option. The CBSE syllabus is closely aligned with the requirements of major competitive exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) for engineering and the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for medical studies. If your child aspires to excel in these exams, a CBSE school can provide them with the foundation they need to succeed.
4. Balanced Approach to Academics and Extracurriculars
While academics are a strong focus in CBSE schools, they also emphasize the importance of extracurricular activities. From sports to arts and cultural programs, CBSE schools offer a well-rounded education that helps in the holistic development of your child. If you want your child to have a balanced education that includes both academic rigor and opportunities for personal growth, CBSE schools might be a suitable choice.
5. Standardized Assessment and Grading System
CBSE follows a standardized assessment and grading system, which ensures consistency across all affiliated schools. This system reduces subjectivity in evaluations and provides a clear understanding of your child’s academic performance. For parents who value transparency and fairness in grading, CBSE’s evaluation methods can be reassuring.

6. Language Options and National Integration
CBSE schools offer a choice of languages, with English and Hindi being the primary mediums of instruction. Additionally, they encourage learning of regional languages, fostering a sense of national integration and cultural awareness among students. If you want your child to be proficient in multiple languages and develop a strong connection to their cultural roots, CBSE schools provide an ideal environment.
7. Consider Your Child’s Learning Style and Interests
Ultimately, the decision should be based on your child’s unique learning style, interests, and aspirations. If your child thrives in a structured environment with a focus on academics, enjoys subjects like math and science, and has clear career goals in these areas, a CBSE school could be the perfect fit. However, if your child has a more creative or artistic inclination, you may want to explore other boards that offer more flexibility in these areas.

Deciding whether a CBSE school is right for your child involves evaluating several factors, including the curriculum, recognition, focus on competitive exams, and the overall learning environment. By considering your child’s individual needs and future aspirations, you can make an informed choice that will set them on the path to success. Remember, the right school is one that not only aligns with your child’s academic goals but also nurtures their personal growth and development.

If NEET, JEE, and AIBE are held in regional languages, why not CLAT?
The consortium was given four weeks by the high court to respond to a petition asking for CLAT-2024 to be conducted in both English and regional languages.
The Delhi High Court Friday asked the consortium of National Law Universities when entrance examinations for medical and engineering courses can be held in regional languages, why not the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) which is conducted in English.
Tumblr media
The high court granted four weeks to the consortium to file its response to a petition seeking the conduct of CLAT-2024 not only in English but also in regional languages.
A bench of Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma and Justice Subramonium Prasad said there are experts who translate papers of NEET in regional languages, then “why can’t we have these papers (CLAT) translated in regional languages?” “If medical education can be taught in Hindi, if the entrance examination for MBBS can be held in Hindi, JEE can be held in Hindi, what is this you are talking about,” the bench said, adding even AIBE (All India Bar Examination) is also held in Hindi.
The counsel for the consortium said the body was not taking the plea as adversarial, and it was in agreement that the examination should also be held in other languages.
“The idea is definitely to make it more inclusive. The only concern is that we have to have necessary linguistic experts with legal knowledge,” he said.
The Public Interest Litigation, filed by Sudhanshu Pathak, who is a law student at Delhi University, contended that CLAT (UG) examination “discriminates” and fails to provide a “level playing field” to the students whose educational backgrounds are rooted in regional languages.
Senior advocate Jayant Mehta, representing the petitioner, said a reply by the consortium at an early date is necessary otherwise the matter will become infructuous as the examination is scheduled by the end of this year.
He said in case the matter is not heard at an early date, the consortium will say now it doesn’t have time to translate the English paper into other regional languages. Agreeing with the submission of the senior counsel, the bench said, “The concern of senior advocate Jayant Mehta is a genuine concern and therefore, respondent number 1 (Consortium of National Law Universities) is granted four weeks time to file reply positively”.
The bench listed the matter for further hearing on July 7.
The petitioner, also represented through lawyers Akash Vajpai and Sakshi Raghav, said: “In a hyper-competitive paper, they (students from non-English language background) are linguistically disempowered as they have to surpass the additional hurdle of learning and mastering a new language.
“Naturally, aspirants belonging to English-medium schools have an advantage over their peers belonging to schools operating in Hindi or other vernacular languages. The underprivileged and disempowered aspirants can never view an exam solely based in English as ‘obvious’ unlike their privileged, English-speaking competitors.” Central government standing counsel Bhagwan Swarup Shukla stated the NEET examination, which is held for admission in MBBS courses, and JEE examination, which is conducted for engineering colleges and IITs, are also held in most of the regional languages.
He sought time to seek instructions in the matter and the court granted him four weeks.
The consortium’s counsel said it is a society and new members have been inducted. He said there is a committee for the purpose of language in respect of CLAT examination which will also take a call on holding the exam in other Indian regional languages as per Schedule 8 of the Constitution.
He said a meeting of the committee is scheduled for Saturday when the issue will be discussed.
The counsel for the Bar Council of India (BCI) submitted it does not conduct CLAT, but AIBE, the exam it holds for enrolment of advocates, is conducted in most of the regional languages.
The high court had earlier issued notices and sought responses of the Consortium of National Law Universities, BCI and the Centre through the Ministry of Education on the petition.
The plea said the New Education Policy, 2020 and Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009 require mother tongue to be the medium of instruction in schools and higher education institutions. Read More On...

State Board schools offer education in the regional-State Board schools near South Bangalore-Samved School
State Board schools are educational institutions that follow the curriculum and syllabus set by the respective state education boards.
State Board schools near South Bangalore
These schools are established by the state government and are managed and regulated by the state education department. They provide education from the primary level to the senior secondary level.
Tumblr media
State Board schools offer education in the regional language of the state, although some schools also offer instruction in English. The textbooks used in these schools are published by the state education board. The syllabus is designed to meet the educational needs of the students in that particular state, and it covers a wide range of subjects including languages, social studies, mathematics, science, and technology.
One of the main advantages of State Board schools is that they are affordable and accessible to students from all sections of society. These schools are present in almost every district of the state, making them easily accessible to students in rural areas as well. They also offer scholarships and financial aid to students from economically weaker sections of society.
State Board schools also offer a sense of familiarity and cultural connect to the students. The curriculum is designed keeping in mind the regional culture, traditions, and customs of the state, providing a familiar and comfortable environment to the students.
However, one of the main challenges faced by State Board schools is the standardization of education across different states. The syllabus and curriculum of one state may differ from that of another state, making it difficult for students to transfer from one state to another. This also makes it difficult for students to appear for national-level competitive exams like the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE), National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), and others.
Despite these challenges, State Board schools play a crucial role in providing quality education to millions of students across the country. They cater to the needs of the local community and provide an affordable and accessible education to students from all sections of society.

What is SATHEE and how will it work?
There are many children in rural cities who have strongly decided to appear for competitive exams. They want to fulfill their dreams by appearing for the exams and passing them. Children are ready to pull up their socks and study hard for the exams but the sad part is that they can not afford to attend coaching centers.
There are many children who want guidance and assistance in studying but all students can not afford it. That is why University Grants Commission(UGC) has launched a self-assessment platform called SATHEE(Slf Assessment Test and Help for Entrance Exam).
What is SATHEE?
UGC(University Grants Commission) has launched an interactive self-assessment platform to bridge the gap for students who can not afford to attend coaching centers. This initiative to help students was taken by  UGC (University Grants Commission) and IIT Kanpur. IIT Kanpur has played a great role in launching the platform. It also helps students to focus on their weak points and strengthen them by practicing more and more. Students can watch the videos prepared by the IIT and IISC faculty members. This way students can gain confidence and can appear in the exams confidently.
The platform was launched on 6 March. It’s already live.
How will SATHEE work?
In the SATHEE portal, the study material is available in different languages including English, Hindi, and other various regional languages. Currently, there are two SATHEE websites that are created. One is for JEE and another for NEET. Currently free study material is available for children appearing for the JEE and NEET exams. The videos are already live with some written study material. Now Indian students are being helped with all the student material.
Conclusion
To conclude, the government has launched a free portal called SATHEE where Indian students can study for their competitive exam.

CBSE or State Board Which is Better For the Future?
Tumblr media
There are still a few parental problems that can affect a child's future, although most of them are no longer important. Everyone should consider education as a priority as it determines how far your child will go in life. It is impossible to underestimate the importance of education.
Choosing a school board for one's child is one of the biggest challenges for Indian parents. There are many options and schools across the country, so it can be difficult to choose.
There are some notable ones including the Central Board of Secondary Education, the Indian School Certificate Survey, and the state board where parents live. There are many advantages to each, but this article compares CBSE vs State Board at a general level.
States across the country have their own councils that are part of the Common Network of State Councils. The state council has a large network of schools and provides basic education to students at all levels.
The state board teaches a full-time based curriculum that includes the state language. These schools are often preferred by leaders. For parents who want to pay less and also want to encourage their children to participate in other activities, this is a good option.
Higher education
CBSE is a better option when you are planning for the future. It is more difficult to study for CBSE exams than for state exams. For engineering and medicine, the entrance exam is based on the CBSE syllabus, so if your child wants to study in a top institute like IIT or AIIMS, CBSE school in North Bangalore is definitely the best route to follow.
CBSE schools mould children to be ready for the tough university entrance exams. This may not be the right way for students to choose for these difficult tests, especially because they tend to be more anxious than to understand the main idea. This will make the test more difficult for students.
Syllabus
Compared to the top management, the CBSE program is tough. The advantage of studying in a CBSE school is that you don't have to worry about state board exams. As CBSE school in North Bangalore conducts IIT JEE and NEET, you must understand the key requirements to crack these exams.
However, each state has its own state board education system. State board exams are difficult for students to pass. Instead of applying and using critical thinking, state board education emphasizes practical learning. Science, mathematics and application-based subjects are part of CBSE. CBSE school in North Bangalore uses English and Hindi as mediums of instruction. The topics of the state council usually focus on the language, culture, and issues related to the state. English and local languages are the official languages of the Council of State.
Learning
In learning concepts, CBSE school in North Bangalore encourages conceptual understanding, while state boards focus on memorizing concepts. CBSE-based exam system requires a student to understand the concept to answer the question. You must understand and apply this concept to succeed at the state board. Whether a student really understands the concept depends on the individual. Similar concepts are used to illustrate the process.
Extra Curricular activities
Tumblr media
It depends on the school that conducts extracurricular activities. These activities are important in many CBSE schools in North Bangalore. In fact, CBSE schools are higher than any other board in terms of these programs.
However, the State Council does not prioritize these activities. CBSE school in North Bangalore prioritize different activities. Some schools prioritize these activities and some do not.
International Scope
Children from both councils are eligible to study abroad as many of them seek to pursue higher education abroad. On the other hand, CBSE board students will have a great advantage over state board students as CBSE students learn English from kindergarten and the other three languages will be taught later compared to state board students. focus on English and regional subjects. CBSE school in North Bangalore follows guidelines and also prepares students to do well internationally, no matter how big their future may be.
Conclusion
Ultimately, which tree to choose depends on your priorities and life goals. CBSE is the best choice if you are looking for engineering or medical studies. You can consider IGCSE or CISCE if your interest is in science or business.
Choosing the right school, regardless of the type of school board, is also important regardless of the type of school you choose after the 10th. While choosing a school, parents should be careful about the difference between CBSE and state school boards. Soundarya central school, the best CBSE school in North Bangalore provides opportunities for students through exploring various tools, techniques, and technologies. Aiming to develop them as lifelong learners. They provide enormous extracurricular activities to ensure the all-around development of the students.

Which Is Better, CBSE or State Syllabus?
Even though most of them do not matter anymore, there are still some parental decisions that can have an impact on a child's destiny. Education should be given top priority by everyone because it affects how far your child will advance in life. It is impossible to undervalue the importance of education.
One of the major obstacles for Indian parents is selecting a school board for their child. Deciding might be difficult because there are many options and schools accessible around the nation.
Tumblr media
What you should know about State Syllabus and CBSE
Our nation's national board, the Central Board for Secondary Education, is connected to a vast network of academic institutions. The CBSE addresses the issue of practice-based learning and places a strong emphasis on upgrading its curriculum to keep up with evolving student needs. In order to standardise the evaluation process, the board also agreed to create a unified system of assessment starting in 2017. The CBSE test format enables the students to take on more challenging exam formats. Additionally, CBSE developed a technology called Saransh to assist educators in monitoring their students' development and giving them extra support as needed.
Every state in the nation has a board that falls under the umbrella of the State Syllabus. The state syllabus serves students of all ability levels at the base minimum level through their extensive network of schools. State language is typically included in the curriculum of the State syllabus, which uses a rotation-based approach to instruction. Students interested in civil tests favour attending such institutions. Parents who want to pay a small charge and want their children to be inclined toward extracurricular activities should do so.
Higher education: When planning a future course, CBSE is a superior choice. Studying for CBSE exams is more challenging than State exams. The CBSE curriculum is unquestionably the greatest option if your child wants to attend a prestigious college for engineering or medicine because entrance exams for those fields are based on it.
Children are shaped by CBSE schools to be ready for college and challenging admission tests. Students might not want to use this medium for these difficult exams because they frequently memorise information rather than grasp its essence. Students' tests will become harder as a result.
International Scope: Students from both boards can apply for study abroad, as many kids wish to pursue higher education abroad. While state syllabus is more concentrated on English & regional levels, kids from CBSE boards have greater advantages because they have been learning courses in the English language since Nursery level and other third languages are offered after a while. Although a child's future potential depends on his or her ability, the CBSE board educates pupils to perform well on a global scale as well.
Entrance Exam: Every student is motivated to pass admission tests after graduating from high school. In order to pass the admission tests, students may engage in various coaching sessions. JEE and NEET are two of the most difficult entrance exams for engineering and medical programmes, respectively. When compared to students from state syllabus, students from the CBSE board have a better chance of passing these entrance tests because the syllabus for these exams is based on the CBSE syllabus. The State syllabus is less demanding on pupils in terms of making them study harder than CBSE and is more regionally focused.
Tumblr media
Result: In contrast to state syllabus, where all exam questions are taken directly from reference books, CBSE assists students in learning concepts more effectively. Students will only be able to pass in that topic on an exam if they truly understand the concept. In comparison to State Boards, CBSE is harder to pass. In comparison to the CBSE, it is simpler to achieve a 90% on the state board. State boards should obviously be taken into consideration if you strive for higher grades.
Grading System: While the grading systems of the State syllabus can vary from one another, the CBSE grading system has a set framework that all the schools covered by it are required to follow. In comparison to State boards, the grading system used by CBSE is hence more consistent and uniform.
Advantages of CBSE over State Boards
Compared to State syllabus, CBSE is a lot more student-friendly. Its curriculum is structured such that kids will not feel under a lot of strain, and the books are made interactive and engaging. Additionally, there are several entertaining exercises interspersed throughout the chapters to support students' enjoyable learning. It makes the entire process of teaching kids effectively and healthily.
Exams for the CBSE are also excellent for fostering a healthy atmosphere for pupils. To ensure that the pupils truly learn from the entire process, every effort is made. They don't have to memorise answers to pass the tests. The papers are constructed in a way that gauges the extent of the students' learning. Very few pupils fail in the CBSE exams, and the results are generally positive.
If you intend to continue your education at a centralised institution, the CBSE curriculum will undoubtedly be very beneficial to you. If you completed your basic and secondary education under the CBSE board, you will have an advantage over other students in the preparatory exams for these institutions.
In addition to providing children with high-quality education, CBSE also makes sure they are developing physically and mentally. It encourages pupils to participate in sports in addition to their academic pursuits and places a strong emphasis on the children's physical development. The kids learn how to be decent people first and foremost, as well as good citizens of the nation.
The pupils have a lot of freedom under CBSE to follow their interests. Students have the option to pursue their academic interests at every step of their education; they are not required to choose a particular course of study. This mainly gives the children a sense of confidence and eventually aids in their ability to believe in the system.
In conclusion, the board you choose will rely on your priorities and life objectives. If you are seeking for engineering or medical courses, CBSE is the finest option.
No matter whatever board of education a school belongs to, picking a good school is crucial. This is true even if the board is chosen after the tenth grade. Parents should look for distinctions between the state education boards and the CBSE when selecting a school.
When all things are considered, both boards offer advantages and disadvantages. Based on the benefits and drawbacks of each Educational Board, students and parents can jointly determine which is best for academic and personal development.
As a result, I recommend Soundarya School in Bangalore because it has all the facilities that students and parents need. With both the CBSE and state board education systems, it is the greatest school in Bangalore.

SAT Exam 2022: Dates, Registration, Fee, Eligibility, Syllabus, Score, and Preparation Tips
SAT is an admission exam administered by testprepkart for undergraduate study abroad, particularly in the United States. SAT is a multiple-choice exam administered on paper and pencil. Registration for the SAT may be completed five weeks prior to the test date. The SAT examination price is $109, which includes the regional charge. testprepkart The SAT is administered seven times a year, depending on the region, and at least five times per year in the majority of countries. The two primary sections of the SAT include reading and writing based on evidence, mathematics, and an optional writing portion. Candidates must respond to 154 questions in three hours. SAT scores vary from 400 to 1600 and are extensively utilized for entrance to college programs. SAT Preparation Online
Due to the COVID-19 epidemic, SAT test facilities in India are now inoperable. Since the majority of colleges and graduate institutions provide remote instruction, SAT or ACT scores are no longer conventional entrance criteria. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the majority of Ivy League institutions amended their admissions criteria to allow students to submit applications without SAT results.
Big Changes in SAT Exam
Due to Covid 19 lockdowns, candidates were unable to take the SAT. Many institutions and colleges no longer need SAT scores. In the next years, the SAT will be digitalized. By 2024, everyone will take the SAT digitally. In test centres, the SAT will be administered by a proctor and scored out of 1600. SAT Subject exams are also eliminated from the SAT exam, but solely for U.S. students. Several alterations to the SAT are as follows:
In short, the SAT is a challenging test. The applicant must sit for four hours and respond to every question type in the Math and English parts. While some queries are straightforward, others are exceedingly difficult. Critical Reading is the most difficult section on the SAT. JEE and SAT are two distinct examinations based on distinct criteria. The primary criterion for the SAT is proficiency in English. The mathematics may drive a person insane, despite the fact that JEE is frequently seen as an easy exam provided the applicant has a solid grasp of the subjects. In contrast, the SAT tests topics from the 10th grade and provides formulae on the question sheet.
Forms of SAT
There are two varieties of SAT examinations: the SAT Test and SAT Subject Tests. While the SAT is a broad test that measures the English, Math, Science, and Verbal ability of test-takers, the ACT is a subject-specific exam. The SAT topic exam is taken to demonstrate subject-specific knowledge. Math, Science, English, History, and Languages are SAT subjects. If you are puzzled about SAT1 vs SAT2, just choose which SAT 2022 exam is appropriate for you. Notably, the SAT Subject Test is no longer administered in the United States, and only a small number of universities need or recommend SAT Subject Test results. International applicants may apply only in the months of May and June of this year.  SAT Preparation Classes

Quick Facts – JEE Advanced Exam 2020
If you have written the JEE Main entrance test in 2016, its time that you know some important facts about the JEE Advanced and stay prepared for the entrance exam. ISS coaching in Lucknow presents in this article few quick facts for IITs or the ISM  JEE (Advanced) candidate:
Tumblr media
 1.    2020 Number Of Papers
JEE Advanced Exam Pattern 2021 – Getting familiar with JEE Advanced exam pattern is one of the first things that candidates should do while preparing for the final entrance exam. Normally, the exam pattern is set and published by the exam conducting body in their brochure. IIT Delhi was the authority for JEE Advanced 2020. The good news for candidates is that the overall pattern of JEE Advanced remains more or less the same every year only with minor changes.
However, candidates should clearly understand the pattern of the exam where they will further get to know other details like the types of questions, marking scheme, exam duration and more.
We have provided important information about the JEE Advanced 2021 exam pattern on this page so that candidates can learn everything about the exam and how it is conducted.
Highlights Of JEE Advanced Exam Pattern
Some of the key highlights of the exam pattern are-
The main exam will be conducted     in computer-based mode.
JEE Advanced consists of 2     papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) and candidates have to appear for both the     papers.
The question paper consists of     three parts: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
There are MCQs and numerical     answer type questions which candidates have to attempt.
An interesting feature of the     JEE Advanced exam is its marking scheme which comprises full, partial and     zero marks scheme.
For effective preparation of examination, one should have a better understanding of how the JEE Advanced exam is conducted and how the question paper is set. Besides, knowing the JEE Advanced paper and exam pattern will allow the candidates to get detailed instruction about various things.
We will further discuss the JEE Advanced paper pattern below.
JEE Advanced 2021 Exam Pattern
Normally, the questions asked in the JEE Advanced paper are quite tough and tricky. The exam is further designed to judge not just theoretical knowledge but also reasoning ability, comprehension skills and analytical power of the students. Therefore, it is important to get familiar with the exam and the question paper early on.
The exam is held in an online mode (computer-based test) where students need to have a basic knowledge about the working of a computer and the mouse. Candidates have to use the mouse to click on the right option as the answer.
As mentioned above, the exam consists of two papers viz. paper 1 and paper 2. JEE Advanced Paper 1 and Paper 2 further constitute a total of 54 questions each. The paper is also divided into three sections: Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, each having 18 questions. In total, the exam is of 306 mark where each paper carries a total of 183 marks. The duration of each paper is 3 hours and is conducted in either Hindi or English medium. During the exam day, paper 1 usually begins at 09:00 am and goes on till 12:00 pm. Paper 2  starts from 2:00 pm to 05:00 pm.
  2.    Accepted Languages
With the Centre’s decision to offer JEE Main 2021 in more regional languages apart from the existing Gujrati, Hindi and English languages, aspirants who are proficient in their native tongue may stand a fair chance of gaining admission to the NITs, IIITs and the centrally funded technical institutes in the country. But will their IIT aspirations take a backseat if JEE Advanced is conducted only in English and Hindi?
Sudhir K Jain, director, IIT Gandhinagar has a more positive take on the issue. “Students appearing for JEE Main and Advanced do a comprehensive preparation keeping in mind the technical stream they have chosen to study. Having an option to take JEE Main in regional languages  would give them some relief from anxiety at stepping stone, and it can build their confidence to progress further towards their next goal,” he tells Education Times.
“ We must prepare our next generation to aim high and for that, they have to come out of their comfort zone, no matter where they study. While initially, having a language of their choice would help, they should learn keeping the long-term goals and larger picture in mind. We have seen so many students from regional language backgrounds do equally well at our institute with the right kind of guidance, hand-holding, hard work and determination,” Jain says.

The CBSE board has a comprehensive grading system. It ranks students from classes 6 to 10 based on both their curricular and extracurricular activities.
This grading system reduces the pressure on students to score high marks in the final exam. It even encourages them to hone their expertise in other fields further as well.
 All-round development
Schools that are affiliated with the CBSE board offer their students overall development. They get the opportunity to be a part of the annual national CBSE schools sports meet. CBSE schools encourage their students to participate in these competitive sporting events.

This flexibility to choose quickly improves their academic performance. At the same time, students have the chance to study topics in which they are typically interested.
 Competitive Entrance Exams
The subjects of math and science are given particular importance. CBSE schools ensure their syllabus content for these subjects is regularly updated. They focus on making these subjects more relevant to our modern times. It aids students in the future while preparing for entrance exams such as the IIT-JEE and AIIMS.
 Opportunities for further education
The mode of instruction is either in English or Hindi. So children are freed from studying regional languages and local subjects. The board is further moving towards the international method of education. It is trying to adopt its examination and evaluation practices. When students go abroad for further studies, they can now quickly adjust to foreign education methods.
The CBSE board takes a child-centric approach in creating its educational system. This method makes studying a more enjoyable experience for all students.
International schools here in Bangalore offer students a good mix of curricular content with sports and artistic pursuits. It encourages students to be further self-directed. It prepares them for a brighter future. An experience like this enhances a student's overall development and ability to excel.
